Don't tell me you're another of the hundreds that doesn't realise the difference between being friends and "asskissing," or being nice for personal gain.
Honestly if you feel that asskissing is the only way you can be friendly to people on the internet, you've got a pretty fucked up ideals.

You really should wait for the opportune moment to take a stab at me, otherwise it'll backfire and you'll look silly.

A little arse kissing doesn't do too bad to the reputation if they're not new, but it still damages their reputation a bit. If the player is new and only does a little arse kissing, people will look at that new comer as a big arse kisser, which will then completely destroy their reputation. If an older member of the community does 'a little arse kissing' but never done it before, it won't do that bad until they go too far.
