In a lower league game between Hartlepool and Notts County, Hartlepool won 2-1. The goal scorers were Peter Hartley and James Poole. Unfortunately Poole scored the first goal.
Hartley is a defender so he doesn't often score and it's the first time they've both scored at the same time.
There was a game a few seasons ago where Birmingham beat Everton 2-1 (or 1-2 as they were away) and the scorers were Christian Benitez and Barry Ferguson. Benitez and Ferguson working together to defeat Everton. You don't see those two surnames on the same side.
Also nice goals in today's game between Manchester City and Liverpool. The game ended 2-2, with City equalising with a stupid error from Reina where he ran towards Aguero who was a fair bit away from the goal. Then Aguero got the ball into the air and into the goal at a tough angle. Earlier in the game City got the first goal with a nice pass to the player in the middle (I think it was Dzeko) and scored a nice clean goal. Later Sturridge got a nice goal from outside the box then Gerrard proved that he still has it when he blasted the ball from miles outside the box into the goal. He did that against Norwich when Henderson scored a nice goal from outside the box. Gerrard thought "I'll show you how it's done" and scored from outside the box.

How is that lame? If you're talking about the fact that Dzeko was down, well he shouldn't be such a whinger. He seemed healthy enough to run up to the linesman to cry about it. Besides the referee didn't blow the whistle so he didn't do anything wrong. You play to the whistle.
