fulham 2-1 arsenal

in advance i must say i saw only the 2nd half... and yeah what did i see? 1 quality team and 1 not so quality team. fulham was all over the game in every aspect. we had better opportunities, better possession, better everything.

Well they (LeArse) battered you in the first half but it was very similair to the spurs game in the second half, difference is we now have a bit of steel to hang on when the going gets tough, I guess Arsenal and Tottenham have changed sides in that respect over the last few seasons. Btw great to see a former yid (as bad as he was in his short time with us) score against the scum and a great finish it was too. Nice to see Jol get one over on that whingy frenchman at last!

Off to the lane tonight to watch us play west brom and very hopeful we can take advantage of all the slip ups in the last few days and keep this marvellous season we are having going.

PS any chance we can have Dembele? His touch and control on the ball is almost sexually good.

nah i dont think so, jol seems to like him a lot. and if we'd get rid of him, we'd be down to relegation zone.

anyway i like what i see: Sources suggest that Fulham FC Official are ready to make an offer for Tottenham forward, Jermain Defoe, in an effort to bolster their attacking line.
Reports tell us that Tottenham are looking to offload some of their deadwood over the course of the January transfer window as they seek to free up funds for what Harry Redknapp predicts will be a ‘major signing’.
The club have surprised everybody with their form this season and find themselves in a genuine challenge for the Premier League title, sitting third in the table behind Manchester United and leaders Manchester City.
Martin Jol will be familiar with the speedster from his time at the helm of the North Londoners and may be keen to link back up with his old charge.
Defoe will be keen to return to a starting line-up ahead of Euro 2012, and would be expected to cost around £10m.

Re: Football Topic - dappamikey - 01-04-2012

  • Calling Defoe deadwood is idiotic considering he is our top scorer in all comps without even being a regular starter. I would be gutted if he left as I feel he's playing better now than ever before but I wouldn't blame him for wanting to prove to Capello that he deserves a place in the England team (even though he'll never be a regular for England in the current set up) and Fulham is a much better stage than QPR.
Whatevr happens he'll always be a yiddo.
