SA:MP went to shit after 0.2x it was great untill then imo, I don't know why im still playing :P

nah 0.2x wasn't better, it's only the great memories we have of it that makes it look better :) in 0.3 there is a better sync, no float bug, no warping, hitboxes are better, the gameplay is smoother, etc... The big difference is that the dm-ing community almost vanished and Kye doesn't give a fuck about it anyway :(

Yeah thats right, but only in 0.3b could 0.3 era superate 0.2X.

Im not saying 0.2x was better Im saying up untill then was better because it was the years of the great times I had :) and indeed Kye is a knob shiner he needs a stabbin  :roll:

I'm not sure how to explain it to you guys but it's REALLY hard to fix it without increasing the speed in which you strafe..
It's related to the core functionality of the GTA:SA engine, which nobody except for R* has the source to. Not only would it require refactoring lots of core, but it would also have to be done through reverse-engineering. You might think "oh, that can't be so hard", but it really is. You'd have to examine the game's executable in details and alter it by writing lots of machine code (assembly).

That's my best shot at explaining it.. Don't go blame Kalcor for something he can't control.

IMHO, it's better the new way as it will get rid of lots of bad sync/warping. Oh and you can rapid fire thuper duper fast. :7

0.3x is far better than 0.2x "OMG IT'S LESS BUGGY WE DON'T HAVE THE OLD GLITCHY THINGS TO DM WITH ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY'RE BEING FIXED!!!" I'm sorry but reading this topic, that's all I'm hearing really, 0.3x has better sync, better performance, text no longer causes low FPS, object sync, vehicles are synced better. Really to watch a mod for an old game that was never intended to be multiplayer, SA-MP has gone quite a ways. But of course, it's developers are assholes, and I'm pretty sure they won't give a damn about some poll on GTAT.

People saying 0.2x was good, it was shit, there was floating and a lot more bugs than samp has now. Ofcourse 0.3 has sliding shit but its still better than having people floating everywhere.
