PS never watch the Fast and Furious films, Transporter films, Transformers films, Hitman, Bad Boys, or Speed. I haven't seen half that list so I can't name whatever other crap is on there but nielz is right about the following films I can personally vouch for:
The Matrix (1 is excellent, 2 is worth a watch)
Iron Man 1&2
Pulp Fiction
Rambo (First Blood)
American Gangster
Rush Hour 1&2
Fight Club
Scarface (it's silly but fun... not unlike many other films on this list)
Pirates of the Carribean
Mission Impossible 1&2
American History X
Darius has a pretty good list overall, though I haven't seen a few of them.
IMDB and rottentomatoes are your friends.
