check ur gta folder and see if ur missing any files and btw does a crash come up right before u enter the game?

It doesn't matter anymore, i can't re-install GTA SA from my CD because a file is corrupted. Going to purchase a new copy.

you buyed it once that means you have kinda the 'rights' to dowlaod it when the cd
is broken..

Maybe you should try "run as administrator"-feature, or "compability mode".
I don't really know anything about computers and such, but when I have some problems, these 2 tend to always fix them
