Anyway, as for the problem (back on topic), I can't think of anything else apart from the troubleshout and checking the internet connection msn gets. I'd try the thing Nonzero posted.

What are key ports?

1) Open up Internet explorer
2) Click the tools menu, then Internet options
3) Select the connections tab
4) Click the “LAN Settings” button
5) Ensure “Automatically Detect Settings” checkbox is ticked
6) Untick “Use a proxy server for your LAN …” if checked
7) Click ok, then ok

Start up MSN and give it a whirl!

What exactly is the error that you get? Does it say 'Entry Code' and a bunch of numbers, and a couple other things? Or "Error Code 874725120" (a bunch of numbers too)? And "service temporarily unavailable" on the same error message? If so, then your new ISP is blocking your MSN. I get it when I connect my phone to my pc to use the internet (like now). It has a Content Lock, because it's T-mobile. So you could have the same problem with your ISP.

And the fact that they say they don't know, and aren't sending anyone out to check it just proves that you just signed up with an incompetent company.
