haha .. nasri will be the next one out maybe man u or city i dunno arsenal are in for a ride this season theyll be lucky to get top 4 only like 2 - 3 good players left there now like arshavin . wilshere thats about it tbh all the rest just arnt good enough ... v.persie is ok not amazin .. arsenal as a whole just arnt strong enough they proved that when they fucked there title challenge up last season

i dont get the big talk over cesc either hes a good player but hes no gerrard , zidane , lampard , an other central midfielders like he is just a good passer thats it im not sayin hes shit cuz he isnt but there are more better players than cesc

5 minutes to go until kickoff! Liverpool vs Sunderland! We have a pretty strong lineup and it's been a real long time since I've looked at the bench and smiled.
Starting XI: Reina, Flannagan, Carra, Agger, Enrique, Henderson, Adam, Lucas, Downing, Suarez, Carroll
Subs: Doni, Meireles, Kuyt, Spearing, Ngog, Kelly, Robinson.
If we lose with a squad like that then there's something seriously wrong.
I'd have liked Aquilani to get a start though. And Suárez just came back from the Copa America, so I'm surprised he has started ahead of Kuyt, who hasn't had a tournament this summer. I'm guessing Kenny wants to use this to warm him up as well as get a win on the season opener.
Nevertheless I have full confidence in Liverpool to get a win today. Sunderland have done some spending as well though, but I don't think they'll trouble us too much.

Lol, okay, that didn't go as well as I thought it would.
Liverpool 1 - 1 Sunderland
Liverpool were dominant in the first half, in the second half Sunderland were dominant. In the second half Suárez and Lucas got tired, and if I was Kenny I would have took Lucas off and brought Meireles on, but instead he subbed Suárez for Meireles and I don't remember him taking Lucas off. I would have took Lucas off for Meireles and maybe take Suárez off for N'Gog (not an ideal sub) or for Spearing and change the formation a bit and have Carroll up front on his own.
Or even better put Kuyt on first (he would have scored the penalty that Suárez missed) and then put Suárez on in the second half to give him a run-out instead of rushing him in.
Still, we got a point (would rather 3), we never lost and we can look forward to the Arsenal game. Although I don't fancy our chances, especially at the Emirates, but it'll be a decent game.
