Sucks that the departure date isn't some date in the future like 12/07/11, all it says is LCSA 2004 which is the release date for SA and not a hint at when we could expect GTA V ;(

Re: GTA V? - Sean3 - 05-09-2010

I doubt those posters have anything to do with the next release of GTA V, and i agree it should go back to Vice City, but then again im better of with something different.

Re: GTA V? - iou - 05-09-2010

Imo it has to contain crime on a "gangsta" level, not this mafia crap, it gets boring.
SA's story is awesome, and now with the new technology's they could make it even more awesome.
GTA IV's story is boring, I played like 6 missions. I feel like an ugly old man with homeless clothes, make it custom like in APB: All Points Bulletin Character & Vehicle Customization.
In SA, cj looks funny too. His jeans is just rofl...
I'd be happier if I could choose a skin to begin with, like in SA-MP.

Re: GTA V? - g3344 - 05-12-2010

You get char customization later on in GTA IV. Just like in SA you have to play more than 6 missions to get some new threads.

Also, GTA IV failed the shooter gamers, but for RPG shooters it was epic.

Bump

What do you make of this?

Quote:You know, this whole Paris thing is beginning to sound sensible.

What could that mean for the next GTA game? Well...blasting through the Arc de Triomphe at full throttle. (Perhaps the arch in LC's Outlook Park traffic circle was a bit of foreshadowing.) Base jumping off the Eiffel Tower. (LC's Statue of Happiness real-life counterpart, the Statue of Liberty, was designed, engineered, and built by Gustave Eiffel in France, who was responsible for the Parisian landmark named for him.) American cultural tie-ins and parodies: Jim Morrison's grave, Ernest Hemmingway, Euro Disney, and the list goes on.

Perhaps there'll be a Day of the Jackal or Ronin type story line.

Don't know about you, but this is enough to make me think I know where the next game is gonna be set :P

Re: GTA V? - Gibbs - 06-25-2010

I'm thinking that maybe it will be Iceland instead..has anybody ever considered that? That might be wrong, but I think it would be pretty cool. Check my post 1 page back to see why I consider that as an option.  >:)

// And as I typed it in the google, it seems that I'm not the only one who has tought about it :D, but most people seem to think that it's an ridiculous idea.

It's not likely. Rockstar tend to go for more inhabited, developed countries. Half of the kids who play GTA probably don't even know where Iceland is.

1 frenchman is more culture than 100 million Americans.

Re: GTA V? - Munch - 06-25-2010

Paris doesn't sound too appealing to me, but maybe Rockstar could come up with something.

I say an IRA GTA!
