Oh yeah I don't get that either...
I'm not a total believer of the event but unless you got a good reason NOT to believe it you shouldn't say anything. That's why I stay quiet since I don't have a good reason not to believe it.
Zezima's a big believer of it though.

We've been given no credible evidence whatsoever, only a bunch of 5000 year old hocus pocus. I'll be laughing at all those superstitious fools come 2013, and millions others will be laughing alongside me.

The only real reason I can give as to why I don't believe in it is because nobody has been preparing for it. If your world is gonna end, but in a few years time you should be preparing for it, try to prevent it. But instead everybody is just sitting back, and there's no news on it whatsoever.
I believe it's just like the bird flu, or the swine flu, just something to divert everyone's attention at something "horrible" while they go about their plans or whatever they do. Seems to be working too.

True, but I still believe they were exaggerated, maybe for drug companies or a government's needs but they definately went over the top with them.
The bird flu sounded really deadly, then about a year later people forgot all about it.
The Swine flu sounded really horrible, and indeed at the start it was, but now it's okay. My dad got swine flu not so long ago and he recovered pretty fast. You're not in any real danger unless you're Mexican.
Only thing this 2012 stuff poses a threat to is people's sanity (for the believers that is).
