Collaboration between blues-rock duo The Black Keys and hip-hop label executive Damon Dash, with appearances from hip-hop artists Jim Jones, Mos Def, RZA, Raekwon, Q-Tip, Ludacris, Pharoahe Monch, Billy Danze (from M.O.P.), Nicole Wray, Noe and Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

After a listen I gotta say it's unique and different, it's not your typical hip hop album... but you should have known that when you read that a blues group made this project. My favorite thing though is how they use real instruments. It's really a beautiful record and I do recommend you check it.

in other hip hop releases though, Rakim's new album "The Seventh Seal" leaked yesterday. It's pretty dope :)
