HIGH PING Issue

To All LVP Players (esp. the pioneers),

We would like to address this post to all those players who are ALWAYS "pissed off" by our HIGH PING.
We want you guys to PLEASE understand that there is nothing more we can do to fix our ping.
We know you'll just say "(coz these are what we always hear) STOP DOWNLOADING PORN, GET A BETTER PC & LASTLY, GET A BETTER INTERNET CONNECTION.", but these are our answers:

1.We have the best pc specs.
2.We already have the best internet connection we could have. (DSL fyi...)
3.We don't download porn! 

THE REASON for our HIGH PING is our LOCATION!
We live...in the Philippines.
Just like Australia:
We are thousand miles away from your server.
& from other servers as well.
But we love playing in LVP! (it rocks!) 

For those hating us, esp. some of the "regulars"  please CHILL OUT...
We'd like to quote someone who posted somewhere in this forum or in samp.com, he said (these are not the exact words though) "we hate it when they win & SAY they owned".
We never do that, we never say OWNED during 1on1's. (& we admit that w/ some of the "regulars" we dont always win...we have the balls to accept it!) 
Sometimes we do, but only during Gang Wars.
& just for fun.

So for the sake of the game, please stop WHINING about it & just enjoy the game.
It's not like your whinings are gonna fix our ping.
So please just get used to it.

& please remember this: IF ONLY there is something more we can do to fix our ping, we'll do it in a heartbeat...but there's nothing more! 

So it would be very much APPRECIATED if you guys just accept this fact.

Steel and i have been talking about this for some time now since we entered LVP.. and we'd like the issue to be done and closed.. we hate the fact that we live so far from the server but we can't help but play in it coz it's really loads of fun..  so for anyone who might read this, please read it carefully, and understand the position we are in.. cheers  :7

I never have complained about ping but this is why people do man:

• High Ping people are mostly new and do not follow rules
  
• High Pings make the server lag a lot which make people mad.

I mean, If I saw someone with a ping like 500, I woulden't think much of it. It would probilly be the breaking line for me. But I mean, if someone comes in the server with a ping of 800 and higher, It is risky and you will prob be kicked.

Think of it this way, If you owned a server, and everyone in there had like 40 - 300 pings, you would prob be like, "Oh, well thats not bad with a sertain amount of people." But, I mean if you get like 60 people in the server, and four guys joined with pings such as 700 - 950, I bet you would kick them. And I stated why in the main reason above. I mean, LVP has now had around 90 - 100 people in the server so lag is mostly gunna be there. But I mean if a person joins with the ping of 800 - 1000, I woulden't think twice of them not being kicked. You hear most of the Admins say. "Hey so -N' so, Fix you're ping!" Pings are what mostly determins your fate in a server, besides cheating  .

I hope you know where I am trying to get at man.

The ping limit is (afaik) 500, so if I see someone with 500+(not just looking 2 seconds) I kick him reasoned by his ping.
I don't really complain but I can understand both sides, you can't do anything about it and they dislike it.

Ok  Let me reply.

1. Nice post Mosteel. I love the way U act pretty adult about it unlike some people.

2. I don't have problems with high pings. The serverlagg makes a way bigger part in that. If people have a high ping. It ain't that bad too fight em. Lead aim ftw. As long as there is No or just a small serverlagg,  There is not one problem to fight people with high pings. When there are many people on the server. The server starts becomming laggy. That makes it harder. Some people start warping then.

I'm gonna tell ya. I have done many 1on1 matches with both Rhydah, Mosteel, and other people with a ping from 300-400. The problem starts with people from ping 700-1000+. It also depends on how good the connection is. Its not allways cuz ur ping is high, that u lagg. I have seen peopel with 60 ping warping all over the place. Its even worse, then people with a high ping then. When I fought Rhydah and Mosteel in training. It was way harder for them to hit me. Normally, I kick people on LVP which their ping is 700 heading to 800, and so on. Which most of the time is 1000+. You're allowed to kick people when their ping is above 500. Most of the admins kick em when its above 700(+). I most of the time teleport to the player first and see how worse the lagg is.

Also, I sometimes say after a 1on1 that it was laggy. Hereby I don't say it cuz I lost, or won, or just becuz I almost lost. (Believe me, some people do it this way, cuz they lost.) If I say this, i mean that the player was warping sometimes. Its being caused cuz of the serverlagg.

Meh, anyway. Just wanted to say this.
