If you are known with TeamSpeak, use the following server address: 193.34.167.64:8767.

TeamSpeak is free VoIP software that allows you to speak to other LVP players through your microphone!
If you want to join us you need to download the TeamSpeak 2 Client first.
After the installation, start TeamSpeak, and an empty screen shows up.


First, change/check some settings in TeamSpeak.
Go to Settings > Options

There is one important option here. Or, 2 if you want.
And the option is: Select your (working) input/output devices.
In most cases the default settings are ok, but if you use, for example, an USB headset, you have to select it for Input Device as well for the Output Device.

If you are done with this options, go to the next step.
Go to Settings > Sound Input/Output Settings

Be sure that you have selected Push to talk, and press Set to set a key.
If you don't select this option, and use your speakers instead of headphones, your output sound will also be used as your input sound (Going from your speakers into your microphone), which results in very bad echoing.
This is very annoying and not useful at all.
Only use Voice Activation when you are using a headset.

To test your settings, change the Test Codec to some random levels, and see how TeamSpeak reacts with this settings.
LVP Channels are set-up with 25.9 Kbit to gain the best quality.

Press the Activate local test mode and press the key you have set-up for the Push to talk method.
If you don't hear your own voice, you have to check your microphone settings in Windows (Assuming that you use Windows for gaming), or the audio devices as described in the previous step.

If your sound is working, we can go to the next step.
Go to Connection > Connect
Right click on Servers (Or somewhere on the screen) and select Add Server

Give it a Label, LVP.
The server address is: 193.34.167.64:8767
And enter your nickname.

If you don't have an account on the TeamSpeak server, select Anonymous.

If you have an account on the TeamSpeak server, select Registered and enter your username and password,
Use the Auto-Reconnect option to automatically connect when you lost the connection to the server.

If you want to auto-join a channel, fill in the field Default Channel

The default channel: Las Venturas Playground
The subchannel:
LVP NL (Dutch): Las Venturas Playground [NL]
LVP EN (English): Las Venturas Playground [EN]

Now, click on Connect and some magic will happen
Push your Push to talk key and see what happens.

If you want to register your nickname at the TeamSpeak server, go to the Self menu and choose Register with server to register your nickname.
After you have successfully registered your account, click Connection > Disconnect.
Once again, go to Connection > Connect and select LVP. (Or the label you gave this server.)
Instead of selecting Anonymous, you can now select Registered, and enter your user name and password.

Every time you start TeamSpeak, you have to click on Connection > Connect and double click on the server name, or click on the Connect button.
