SA-MP still growing (possibly en masse)
#1
I constantly tell people about SA-MP/LVP all the time and the other day I found out that one of my friend's friends is addicted to SA-MP.  I got my friend to start playing MTA (I tried to get him on LVP/SA-MP but he said he likes MTA more).  Then, I saw this article:

http://onaxis.blogspot.com/2008/03/how-d...ng-no.html

Down at the bottom of the page...

"In other news, I may be picking up San Andreas for PC. I hear that the multiplayer modification for the game is pretty fun. And why wouldn't it be. I mean killing random people online. That's enough to buy me."

on the page, the multiplayer modification is a link to SA-MP.com.

But yea, I say hell yes to the people picking it up.  Until GTA4 is out on the PC, I believe SA-MP, MTA and LVP will be a strong community, hell, maybe longer.

Sa-mp certainly isn't growing.
Perhaps it will a *little* over the next few weeks before GTA IV comes out, but it's been slowly fading for months.

I believe SA-MP is growing, ever since 0.2.2 came out. The small SA-MP community I came from has just about tripled over the summer, and now is getting more slots every 2 months or so. So, just playing on a couple of servers, i've seen a lot more new players, and unfortunatly a lot more cheaters : / .
