[Idea] Training grounds

Like some kind of introduction to LVP and GTA?

Pretty cool, but I think that's kinda different to these weapon training levels?

Why not make two?. We can have the weapon level thing, and a completely different assault course?. Would mean 2 new features.

I don't think there's really much to master in the art of climbing/running, it's pretty straightforward. We could, however, make small posts to demonstrate what height you can jump to, jump over, etc. Maybe familiarize the player with San Andreas' terrain?

i beleive you can increase your stamina because mta supports the stats ect.

Would we really want per-player stats?
It would promote elitism, which is something we do not want to pressure new players with -- right?

i think ranking up your own playerstats would be more of a challenge. which can be fun in the process. that is why you can use the training grounds :)

Yup. And it doesn't have to be hard as you don't need to fight these 'elite' ones in order to upgrade.

If we can have Bots, why dont we put some in places like Ammunation, and food places. Have them like walk around in the shops, that would be pretty cool if you ask me.

Wouldn't that reduce the server performance (if it's not client sided)?

Peter, will it be possible to apply animations to those bots?
then I have great Idea's about quests and such :O

about the levels for training, I think its the best to have some very basic 'test' round, like basic driving, jumping and target shooting. (one round that is 'skippable') so beginners can choose where to start there training.
I should call that 'round 0' for now.

as for the "training schedules" maybe let the player decide what they want to train, driving, shooting, flying, boating.
and also the train-time, rounds make take up no longer then 15 minutes, or people get bored.

round 1:
shooting: running target (from A to B) player X spawns somewhere in between, and has to stop the bot from reaching its goal. maybe increasing the number of bots every time, and see what is the max for player X to stop/terminate/kill.
driving: basic from A to B, no damage, quickest time.
flying: basic A to B, in a shamal or maybe para out on target.
boating: same as aboth, maybe small water jumps

round 2:
shooting: this time the bots have guns, player X has to protect the safehouse from 4 bad guys, wich will be driving towards the house. each round the bots get better skill(if possible) or just better guns.
driving: pursuited by badguys, shooting player X, the player has to reach the safehouse before getting killed
flying: heli landing (difficult landing sites, such ass rooftops)
boating: vortext land<->water

round 3: ... and so on.

I've had it in SA-MP, I saw someone walking in a casino and Darkfire didn't. I don't know how that is in MTA though.
