How do u know, they don't take a car.
Like, if they say to a friend, stay there and wait on me, they take an other route, they can win. (with a car/bike/heli/..)
Maybe u need to put some players each 'x' miles, and make a route u need to follow.

There's helicopter pilots for recording I suppose, meaning, if they take a car or w/e they're recorded doing so. If you'd do it » stupid.

Anyway, good luck organizing / have fun playing it.

I do like the idea. But i suggest to change the starting location because the ship is one of the busiest places.

The idea is great  . But, you should make the start post nicer, like instead of having the signup in one line do it like this:

so it's easier to read.
