Dear Fry, Management,
My name is Michael Lambert, someone who joined your server for the first time this evening. My very first experience was considerably positive: a nice environment, enough death match going on as well as a large variety of mini-games, some smaller role-playing activities and enough features to keep one enjoyed for ages. I have fully read the player- and moderator rules, and even though I might not be totally privy to their full extends, I do have a fair idea of both policies.
A couple of minutes ago I decided to join your server, as has been said before, and decided to play normally. I saw minor hints for a certain bug, various players complaining about being muted by a bot called “DaBot†with no apparent reason. As a new player of the server, I wanted to make a good impression towards others and concluded that this bug had to be reported. Rather than blatantly report it while not being absolutely sure of the actual problem, I decided to try it out myself prior to creating the topic. With success, I might add.
After a few decimal numbers, being a total of six numbers ranging from zero to one, I got muted by this computer program named “DaBotâ€. I was right: there was a bug, and I now was ready to report it. I kindly requested an unmute in your administrator-chat, however, got ignored. Meanwhile the moderator called Fry was chatting in the chat box, which led me to believe that he indeed was ignoring me.
A short conversation followed. I was being interrogated for a reason I still am not certain about. I do not run any programs using GTA San Andreas next to San Andreas: Multiplayer, nor do have any cheat for the game installed or have any interest in having any. This was, apparently, not an acceptable answer to Fry, on which he replied that my mute was not his problem considering he was not the one to mute me from the chat box. I pointed out to him that I had read the server rules, however, for no avail. I got muted indefinitely and got told that I was allowed to chat again once I was able to behave.
With all due respect, I very well know how to behave, and am personally insulted by this behavior I found on your server. All I wanted was to verify the existence of a bug prior to reporting it, however, due to misbehavior of a moderator called Fry this was not possible. I will return in some hours to continue my investigation, and report the bug if I find it indeed exists.
