got this idea from this http://forum.sa-mp.nl/index.php?topic=6366.0 post.

How about a /cruise command that transports you to LV airport. You would only be able to use this command when in a car (like ctp). There would have to be atleast 3 teleport points around the end of the runway that you would get teleported to randomly (so cars dont land ontop of one another). Or just have it like /tune, where you have to wait 10 seconds after somone used the command.

This just kinda popped into my head. Not to sure it would work (spamming reasons). A command to show a message for cruises, like when someone starts a minigame. maybe /start cruise

"ooshie has started a cruise. Use /cruise to be teleported to the cruise!"

see how those work together nicely  :)

Could be a nice idea, but I think we should make everything as much GUI-based as possible, rather than command-based. Also, it would be a little too easy if you could just teleport to the airport, tuning your car and driving to the meet is part of the fun. And another question that comes to mind: should cruises be in a separate dimension or not?

I couldn't agree more with Pugwipe. Cruises however could be scripted so you have a chat channel with your cruise-mates, along with their icons boldy on the map and an arrow on top of them? Hell, even a checkpoint on the leader so you can always tell where they are. Just generally things to make cruises easier, without getting in the way too much of how they've always been a player-organized event.

Those things sound very nice, that way it would become easier at more fun to do a cruise. Still I don't know whether the cruise should be in a seperate world, or just in the main one. It's easier in a seperate one because people won't attack you, and you can't just cruise relaxed, but that also takes away part of the fun, when you meet people and they can join, that won't happen in a seperate world.

Separate dimensions for cruises should be optional, however I think it's quite cool cruising with everyone else around on the streets and such.

With the option of going private, the leader could take an entire cruise into another dimension quickly via a GUI?
