Thank you for your attention.
I want to try to introduce a new kind of rule.
A rule which applies mainly to gangmembers.
A rule which can and may be broken.
A rule without jails/kicks/bans if you break it.
A rule which could make the life of mods/admins a lot easier.
Do I still have your attention?
Good!
The last few weeks LVP has been become a very busy server on regular times.
This means often 50+ players.
Most of them are new players. New players also need help. Some need much help, some a little help, and other players are just playing and discovering commands.
But, there is also a second group of new players. They are called cheaters.
They don't join empty servers, but only servers with a lot of players.
But the problem is, they don't have a nametag on them: Hey admins! I'm a cheater. Ban me quick!
So there are 2 options we can do.
The last option is in most cases the best option.
You can detect speedhackers, healthcheaters, airbreaks, and more.
A lot of mods/admins are choosing for the second option.
But now the problem, and maybe you can guess the problem already.
Almost EVERY gangmember, no matter what gang they are in, are constantly trying to kill the admins so they can "pwn" them.
Killing by constantly teleporting, waiting at the ramp of the ship till you move, driveby (Can it be more lame?) and constantly chasing you. Very frustrating.
So, coming at the end of this topic, I want to introduce this "rule".
If there are 40+ players online, please DON'T kill mods and admins which have their original orange or yellow color.
And for the mods/admins: DON'T kill gangmembers with 40+ players online, and when you have your original orange or yellow color. If you want to kill: Please change your color!
If however, a mod or admin changes his color (Mods can't do it them self) you may kill them.
Like said before, there won't be any kind of punishment if you kill a mod or admin, but it will be appreciated by the mods and admins if you don't kill them.
Accidents happen, thats ok. But if you are trying to kill mods/admins by purpose it could become very frustrating.
