First off, let me start with a rhetorical question.
What's a property good for?
Anybody answering this to a new player will almost instantly snap to, "generating money".
That's the only incentive to buying properties -- generating money from them.
So all the properties in cool, remote places, they're just there for beauty. And sentimental value.
But wait! Properties have more potential than being just assets.
So - here's what I'm suggesting.
Let's say you own the Four Dragons casino.
You know it's an important and expensive place, because you can gamble there.
You could find a car and drive to it, but you don't have any way to get to it more easily, even though you're the owner.
It's a simple scenario, really.
Just type /myprops to see the properties you own.
Find the ID of a particular property.
If the property ID of the Four Dragons Casino is one, and you own it, you would type:
/ptp 1
And you would be set onto the property marker for that location.
I realize that, if inducted, this might produce many changes in the behavior of players in relation to eachother.
That's what discussion is for! So discuss. Is this ethical? Could it be abused? Could we prevent abuse using <etc>?
