Here are some important things you need to know before assigning a ticket to yourself on the trac.
The first and most important thing is that you first assign bugtickets to yourself and fix them. After that you can create new features. We have chosen to do this because bugfixing is simply more important. Bugs can ruin someone's ingame-experience.
The second thing is that if you assign a bug to yourself, you should be able to fix it within a week. We know, with a few bugs that just won't be possible, but with most of the bugs, it should be possible to do it in a week. If you can't fix it in this week, because you are sick or whatever, ask another developer to fix it, and then make sure the ticket is assigned to him.
Third is that when you want to assign a ticket, we would like you to first assign tickets with a higher priority. After that you can assign tickets to yourself with a lower priority.
