Hi all,
Several people have suggested that we'd add the ability to store money in houses. I don't fully understand the benefit, but am considering it because of its popularity.
Why would you (or would you not) like to see this feature?
Thanks,
Russell

I think this would be a good idea, especially if we allow the ability to "break in". If another player gains entry, there should be a way to rob the owner. Maybe having an option to buy a safe and you would have to "crack" it to rob the cash inside. If they don't have a safe, then maybe cash bag pickups? just my ideas.

If we follow your logic then all this new house feature is RP. So you think we should remove houses?
And I agree with the fact of storing money, maybe it's still early to have the posibility to break in a house, but I was thinking of an alarm system that would inform the owner/friends/gang teamates so (if they want) they can deffend their friend's house.

The ability to store money in house and chance for others to do burglary (with the possibility of alerting the owner of house and ensuing a fight..)
Might be RP but I like the idea and would love to see that happen. Maybe add some requirements too..Like if the house owner got a strong safe, the burglar will have to get special explosives and such in order to break it.

If we have two ways for players to store their money, one that allows others to steal it and one that does not, why would people use the safe? Should we decrease the bank limit?
In regards to the roleplay versus freeroam versus deathmatch question: LVP walks on a very fine line between freeroam and deathmatch. We actually plan to build out gang zones and bases on top of houses:

Hi, I was thinking that, since you really want to put the focus on bases and gang zones, you could add a strategy game aspect to the game by defining a relationship status (neutral/friendly/hostile) between gangs that can open up to many more new deathmatch aspects of the game.
I am just brainstorming ideas here so please bear with me . Say for instance that, X gang has a base in some area. OFC the base will be equipped with vehicles and have perks that will allow X gang members to have the advantage in case of a fight around the base. Gang zones or territories can also define X gang's influence and reach. In case of a hostility between X and Y gang members, leaders can change the status of the relationship to hostile marking all enemy gang zones as well as their respective base RED on the map (Enemy players could also have a defined tagname colour that will show that they are hostile-red for instance). A full blown war's objective would be ofc to hijack the enemy base's money or even take possession of their base or destroy it (in which case the loosing gang has to buy a new base). You could make it so, a direct attack against an enemy base can only be possible when the enemy gang has lost all its territories/gang zones.
In similar fashion, friendly gangs can also be marked in green and can form alliances against another gang and so on.
As I previously mentioned my ideas are very vague and I don't even know whether they could be implemented but overall I find that a ''relationship status'' between gangs, with the creation of gang zones and bases, can open up to many new interesting challenges/aspects to the game.
Anyways, thumbs up to whoever is constantly implementing all these updates, amongst the staff members. Even as an outsider, I find that your dedication is very much appreciated so ya keep giving us those sweet additions !
Peace!

Maybe we can reduce the bank limit and allow storage upto 100-500 million in house safe, for those who wanna store extra money. We can add several features which can be bought, like house alarm, small locker which can store less money to big safe which can hold millions.
I like the relationship status between gangs.Like if 'A' gang enter 'B' gang territory,B gangmembers will recieve a warning about it.I don't like the idea of destroying a gang base so maybe we can implement something else. For example, gangs can store money in their gang base locker, which can be deposited or withdrawn by all gang members.Suppose A gang entered B territory and caused a gang war on the turf.If A gang manages to kill all B gang members and hold territory for x minutes, they can break into base and steal money slowly..While the B gang can come back, and stop A gang from stealing all money. To avoid incidents like breaking into gangbase when there are no members,we can set a criteria like a minimum of 2 gang members is required to be online on both gang in order to start a Gang war which will fix the issues.
I know it's kinda off-topic but I think it's a good idea.

Allow money storage in houses, in terms of money bags, e.g. like a parking lot, you can create a moneybag location in your house, then choose the amount and frequently update it. When you walk into it, a message appears and says you have gained x amount from x's moneybag. The house owner, if online, gets a message saying who grabbed their moneybag. Money bags could be placed to make a house more attractive, or to invite friends who can get some quick cash, and later, weapons and health.
So it could be a feature for friends, but also a risk from intruders, any questions please fire away
