I was watching an old episode of Top Gear last night, and in it, they featured car manufacturer Saab:

I've never owned or ridden shotgun in one, though it was emotional nevertheless.
With that said, after a year or two of being closed down, they re-opened: http://www.topgear.com/car-news/first-lo...ially-back
This got me wondering about other formerly great brands that for one reason or another, are no longer with us.
Two that come to mind for me are Woolworths and Blockbuster. They were both places I used to visit regularly back in the day, now replaced by the likes of internet giants such as AmazonĀ
Your turn! Are there any brands that you miss or remember using?
