And indeed, Pink Floyd is fantastic... although I don't know much of their work *goes to the corner and puts on the "dunce" cap*

I'm also into a lot of old stuff like this:

Gotta love them warbling Hammonds plugged into Leslie speakers.

More Hammond goodness. (that band is great btw, great album that one).

Oh and if you like Stoner and raunchy riffing and vocals, you should definitely check out Left Lane Cruiser. Here's a few of theirs:

Friggin' love the guitar's tone in this one ^

And a last one to top it all off, one of my all-time favorite tracks in the entire Stonerrock genre.

Dem solo's. So tasty.

EDIT:

YES, Electric Wizard is fantastic! I love that nasty drowned-in-fuzz garbling guitar tone.

Your taste is awesome! I'm not a musician so don't know technical terms, But I get feelings from other bands alike that they were very much influenced by old school progressive, Its more of a feel then anything.

Don't feel bad for not knowing all of Pink Floyd, Some albums ain't as good as others ;)

I listen to so many different genres its hard to keep track of it all at times.

Hey Runi hoe, Life is awesome, I've just been working, spending time with my girlfriend & cat sons, and hosting my radio show on the weekend. PM me if you ever wanna chat.

Thanks, yours is not bad either!

Here's some more merry stoner/metal/rock for ya.

Bongzilla - Hash Dealer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VHko2S1XQA
Actually played that riff on a friend's Orange 120 amp with all the knobs dimed with a Colorsound Overdriver driving the fuck out of the amp. Fuck that felt good.

Causa Sui - Red Sun In June
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zofHdXZJ0-g
A bit more psychedelic for ya'.

Elder - Spires Burn
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2b940y_gMsg
Fuzzed out stoner goodness

Fu Manchu - Eatin' Dust
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEX0sbrm8yw
More fuzzed out stoner goodness.

Goatsnake - Flower of Disease
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePRTxzIQRLM
Really low groovy stoner. I believe Sunn's guitarist and singer are in this band as well, maybe some other members as well.

And last, but certainly not least...

Samsara Blues Experiment - Double Freedom
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zjp-F5rF5yg
Very psychedelic stoner/space/kraut rock. Smoke a fat one and listen to the full track uninterrupted. You're in for a trip.

Good to see others who also appreciate stoner rock, the whole genre is a goldmine when it comes to finding good tracks!
Keep em coming! :7

OH YOU LIKE THAT, HUH?
EAT THIS.

Electric Wizard - Dopethrone
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gz-xmICHCK4
Self explanitory title.

Weedeater - Hammerhandle
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OR5b8ZAn...63F7FAC101
Ditto.

Belzebong - Sonic Scapes & Weedy Grooves
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLKB9huoTkU
Entire album ^ good instrumental stoner goodness without getting boring. Major fuzz-laden riffs and grooves.

Grand Magus - Gauntlet
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoUpiCLJqhU
They used to do stoner for their first two albums and their demo. Now they do viking metal. buu :c

Halfway To Gone - Devil Spit (the Van Zant Shuffle)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rM0AZdvq-eE
Great band this one, as I mentioned earlier in the thread. All three of their albums are killer in different ways.

Sungrazer - Mirador
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZqk6_CPCc4
Perhaps one of my all-time favorite bands. They do this super heavy/stoner rock thing combined with psychedelia and very intense mood-builds and climaxes. They're Dutch too, which makes them extra cool.

Albatross Overdrive - Calico
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vK9Rt8z4FbQ
Super bluesy stonerriffic song. The rest of their album is unfortunately (IMO) not like this track at all.

1000mods - Super Van Vacation
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlJzHOjwZLg
Super fuzz bassy laden track.

Btw Fuse, is your ingame name Fusez?
