what's the difference between faking timeouts and nading yourself so you suicide and others don't get the kill?

The outcome would be the same, you don't get a death / the other doesn't get the kill.
If you refer to nading yourself not adding to stats, that is fixed in the next version.

i don't care about stats myself, i'm just asking because zaibatsu got banned for it, while facebook and others kill themselves using grenades in fights so they don't die, and since the outcome is the same then there should be an equal punishment for it or none at all.

His ban is for fake timeouts. The only reason they can still do it with a different outcome (no kill) is because the version isn't live yet. When that's live, there's no point in nading yourself, the death would still count.

like i said, it's a way to prevent getting killed. be it one thing or another only makes sense to apply the same punishment. it's ridiculous that facebook always does this and he doesn't get punished, while zaibatsu gets banned.

I've seen Zai nading himself too, but since we've no clear rules on that we didn't act on anyone. However, we do enforce fake timeouts, and Zai knew that.
