Retrying server

In sa-mp i get a ping from the server, but when i start the game it says retrying server, does anyone here know why?

Might be a stupid question but did you update your SA-MP? Or did you reinstall SA lately? Might need to patch it if so.

fixed, i assumed the download on the website was the latest version, someone clearly forgot to change the download link to e
