Basically i was fighting Siri cause he hit my car. All of a sudden Matrix_Smith comes out of nothing (teleported) with sophia in his car and matrix gets out of the car. So i decided to headsnipe him. Upon which he jails me. He says i shouldnt fight near a cruise. Basically, up untill he teleported we were nowhere near a cruise.

I saw the complaint filed against me on the forum and I'd like to clear up a few things.

This is my side of the story:

From time to time Admin Striker and Admin Oostcoast make me a tempmod to watch the deck for them, after they leave. I enjoy being a tempmod and my aim is to keep the game fair to all the players.
Last night Oostcoast gave me modrights again. All was going well until we started a cruise with Sophia leading and a few more cars following. At a certain point we had te regroup for Sophia drives insanely fast and it's difficult for other players to keep up with her. I was sitting in the drivers seat next to Sophia when I suddenly see two people fighting and doing a 1 vs 1 near the cruise. The two players were Target and i believe Siri. One of them started throwing grenades and they damaged the cruise vehicles. Our car would have blown up I had not used /vr in time.  I got out of the car (I must have hit 'f') and Target shot me. I jailed both of them for 2 minutes because of damaging the cruise cars (NOT because he shot me!). Siri did not appear to have a problem with it, but Target got insanely mad at me. He started telling me how I was the worst temp there was, how i made the wrong decision, etc.

Target got mad at me again when he lost 22 mil in jail. I decided to give it back to him because that would only be fair. I gave him the opportunity to explain to me what he thought wasn't fair. Several moments later I recieved a report from Sophia. She claimed Target was nading the ship. I asked him if that was true, but didn't get an answer. I decided to leave it at that.
Target then started accusing Tris of hacking. When I told him he wasn't he just wouldn't listen to me.

I only jailed the two gentlemen to prevent more cars from getting damaged and other players getting shot. In hindsight it was probably better just to remove their weapons, but it was a split second decision.


I'm sorry that I got people angry. My aim was to make sure everything went fair and square and that the game could be enjoyed by everyone.

Yes, after speaking with two other people and reading the IRC logs, I feel that the action which was taken is justified.

I did not damage any car. Nor did I break any rule. I did not deserve to be jailed.

If the cruise drives over the strip people should stop fighting? Fighting near a cruise is not allowed as far as i understand?
