imo its not time for a new map yet. If we change it too often, or too soon in this case, then we risk negotiating the trust of our players. If they do not feel their build will be around for very long, then they simply will not build. It is for this reason that I say, hold off for a while. And you never know, in the mean time we may find new ways to achieve some of the things LVM may be missing.
Just an extra note. There is a mushroom biome (or what appears to be) not to far from the spleef stadium near the main city. I am yet to see if it produces mushroom cows, but the terrain is certainly that of a mushroom biome.
