I've been looking on other servers and the concept that most of 'em have about 'minigames' isn't really the same as LVP. For example, we have the Walkweapon Fight minigame (/ww) where everyone is able to sign in during a certain period (mostly 15 seconds) and while the minigame is running no one's able to join it, while on the other servers they have completely freedom and can leave & exit a certain area (minigame location) whenever they please.
I'm not suggesting to switch the minigames process, but to add a feature that if a player tries to join a minigame that is already running, the player who tried to join it would be able to watch the current players who are playing in that minigame. And when the minigame's over that player would be automatically signed up for it.
While the player's watching the other players who are in the minigame:
- It could have an appellative text-draw informing the player will be playing the next round.
- If the player hold "Esc", he / she would return to the main world, at the exact position / location he / she was before (/leave should do the same as well)
- It could be randomly switching the player that is being watched, or by pressing LMB it would switch to another player.
- If the the current player who is being watched, for some reason (left, died or got dropped out), leaves the minigame and if the minigame is still running, then it should switch to another player too.
