Connection issues with Beta server

i tried joining it today and just got spammed with

Connecting to server...

Server did not respond...

Server did not respond...

Server did not respond...

Server did not respond...

the ping levels show that it is working but i don't get why its not connecting

You need SA:MP 0.3d, I think RC 7 or 8. The newest dev build.

Currently the beta server's running SA-MP 0.3d RC8. You can download it here: http://team.sa-mp.com/RC/03d/sa-mp-0.3d-RC8-install.exe

However, SA:MP 0.3d RC9 has just been released, Jay might be updating the server soon, so go checking this topic http://forum.sa-mp.com/showthread.php?t=282775 to make sure you're always using the lastest version
