Just seeing if anyone on these forums can help too!
1) SA-MP version = 0.3c
2) Windows version = XP 32bit
3) Video card type = ATI X1250 (Laptop) & ATI Radeon HD 5700 (Computer)
4) IP
ort (if any) of the server you are trying to play on = Tried numerous different 0.3c servers, LW's, Partyserver, LVP etc.
5) If you are crashing, paste the crash report in your post and say when the crash occurs = crashes just after it says samp 0.3c RC started and before it says connected. See end of post for crash report.
6) If you are crashing loading SA-MP, please say whether GTA
A single player works (test it) = Yes single player works on both laptop and computer.
7) Do you have any other GTAA mods installed? e.g. new vehicles = None.
Single player works fine, created a save on both machines. I can't figure it out at all. Latest drivers on both machines, directX installed.
Also samp 0.3c works fine on my other laptop which is running windows 7 and on wireless. I'm also using a install from an offiicial GTAA bought in store and then downgraded using the donwgrading patch and using the disc in the DVD drive, not a fixed EXE.
I've been playing samp since 2007 and have never come upon a problem like this.
The only thing I can think of is that its because I have moved house so I'm on a different ISP and router and I'm trying to play using a wireless connection. Perhaps its something to do with the wireless settings? Or the router firewall? But surely if it was a network problem the game would try and connect and then say server not responding rather than just crash?
