Platinum accounts

I feel it's quite difficult for players to upgrade to a Platinum account and later extend their bank limits. A few minutes ago, someone was unaware of the costs of upgrading the limit to 750 million and he ended up losing all his money.

Opening a platinum account costs 100 million, which in my opinion, should be changed to 50 million.

Increasing the bank limit costs 2x times the desired increment + 2 million. For example, if a player wants to increase his limit from 400 million to 450 million, he'd have to pay 102 million (50*2 + 2).
In my opinion, this should either be the same as the increment amount or less. Players are required to pay around 700 million just to upgrade their limit to 750 million, which is quite hard.

Also, how about increasing the maximum limit to 1 billion? With the increasing number of expensive properties, it'd sure be nice to have some extra limit. A lot of players tend to create gangs just to utilize the extra 2 billion limit they get.

I agree, I understand that the costs for upgrading can be a way to keep players making money, but I think that it can be annoying and not realistic.
Players should be able to spend their money on a shitload of things they can purchase, that's a whole new tread though (yes, I am thinking about houses).

Your solution could be a temp fix, but in the long run I'd like more ways to keep money flowing.

let it be, if all the older players managed it, so can the new ones. we had to pay shitloads to upgrade to 2bil, 750mil is a piece of cake.

Making money isn't really that hard though. People always say it's hard, but I went ingame with an unregistered account several times and got myself up to the 15 million you get within 2 hours. And those who know the good properties would do it faster. But since I don't.. and when you get more money and get to know the properties etc, it's not too hard to get up quickly.

That should probably be lowered.
I remember doing that too, some would bring you only 50k or so, but most would get you around 900-950k.

That's completely true, but it also depends on what car you're exporting and how is its health at that moment, but yeah that's probably the best way to make "fast money".

Most of the cars wanted aren't too far away. I think you can find pretty much all of them in LV. And most pretty close too, as I said.

The problem is that for a non DM'er there are now proper ways to spend your money.
Just making money will get boring after a while.
