Okay so I was originally having this problem on startup, but I renamed my GTA San Andreas folder to 'GTA San Andreas 2' and it seemed to have fixed that.
Basically my problem is in the title. The game was freshly installed this afternoon. When I tried to join a server, it crashed. I'd fixed this in the past by renaming my GTA San Andreas folder. So I did this, and I'm able to play fine. I can also minimize the game, but maximizing gives me the ol' 'An Exception Occured'.
Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?
Using Windows 7 64bit, which I think probably has something to do with it - considering this exact same version of the game worked fine on my old install.
