Post your suggestions in this topic, i'll start off with mine.

We should have an official currency for example iron, gold and diamond.

9 Iron Ingots = 1 Gold Ingot
9 Gold Ingots = 1 Diamond

This seems reasonable to me..

Another suggestion, trees shouldn't drop that much apples, I already got 2 large chests full of 'em..

I agree that we should need a proper currency of sort, I've just never quite been able to come up with a decent system :+ What if I need iron? Would I have to start trading stone? :+

As for the apples, I think they have a drop rate of 1/100 atm, if not, thiaZ knows :+

Yeah, you should be able to sell stuff as well for iron, gold and diamonds.
For example, a stack of wood. You could buy a stack for let's say 4 iron,
but you could sell that stack of wood as well for the same price.

Would it be so hard to add a piece of script that puts a little money symbol with a figure up in the top right corner of the screen, using all the same commands a LVP. Initially, there would have to be some founding stores that would buy any material off anyone to generate money and kickstart the ball rolling but once the cash is floating about in LVM, it would be there forever, just changing hands. If certain people get powerful enough they could put other players on a payroll to work for them... im just thinking out loud here, i dunno...

I'd like to get some input from Matthias/thiaZ about the development ability as far as that type of economy, I like the idea more than items as currency though.

Yeah, it does need some kind of currency however there should be a baseline for certain things so

so say if the baseline was 9 iron ingots for 1 gold ignot (seems abit much to me but k) it would be down to the trader(s) at what they start trading at, but using that as a baseline would help.

I halved the rate of apples spawning.

+ it wouldn't take too much work to add a currency + a market (selfmade obv.), I may be working on this next weekend if you want it.

- /givecash commands for players.
- Some kind of a local bank to store your money at.
- Maybe properties or even stocks. :D
