The texture res is rather sad in Crysis 2, but definitely not that sad, that has to be at medium or something.

according to the people who took those screenshots, they were running this game maxed out. Crysis 2 is just a poor console port

Cry engine 3 actually is very much different from Cry engine 2, but Crysis 2 did not take advantage of it much at all, the textures suck and the work toward the campaign and PC/PS3 versions are quite sad.

DowJones: the texture resolution is shitty but is greater than that, I can already tell by the armor texture and vehicle textures that he's not running it maxed out. The grass resolution is shit, I must agree.
