Many players find themselves in a situation where they have reached their bank limit, waiting for the next pluspoint or whatever, and they have loads of left-over money coming in and nothing to do with it. I think there should be more ways to spend that money on the server. More things to buy, more things to do with the money and so on.
I have some suggestions:
Buy shares in gold and oil:
I don't know how hard this would be to physically do but I'm just thinking out loud here...
A player can at any time invest their money in the value of either gold or oil. They can invest whatever they want, from $1 to say 10 million dollars, the more they invest, the bigger the potential profit.
What happens is this: The value of gold and oil separately change on the server every minute. They either go up in value, or down in value. Once a player invests their money in gold or oil, the money is taken from them and they wait. The value alters every minute - going up or down completley randomly, with the minimum being -1000% and the maximum being +1000%. The player will see the value of their chosen item go up or down at random just ten times, so every minute something will pop up like this:
The value of gold has risen to +400%.
At this point, whatever the player invested in gold, their money has increased by 400%, to claim this amount, they then type /sell for example, to gain the money. The gamble is, the player only gets 10 goes at seeing the value go up or down, so if it goes up by 200% on the 8th go, but they take a gamble cos they want it to go up by more, but it doesn't - there screwed!
Hope you understand what I'm on about cos this was kinda rushed, but yeh, hope you get the general idea of what I'm trying to say. So, the more you invest, the bigger the potential profit, if things go your way, and your not too greedy/optimistic. After 10 goes, if you don't sell on your shares you lose everything, even the money you put in at the start.
Also just other normal things to spend money on in the server, there's not really that much to spend money on other than weapons and Autobahn cars.
