@cloakster: I just converted it to USD to make it a little easier for you to figure prices :P And yep, I was checking in a local store.

@Mark: I didn't say that the power supply was plugged "wrongly", I just meant that I was connecting the PC directly to the wall instead of using the voltage regulator because the one I have doesn't have enough power to feed the PC, especially the videocard.

The day the PSU died my aunts were cleaning the kitchen, and while doing so they accidentally pulled one of the electricity's breakers down. That one wasn't my room's one, but when my dad tried to pull it back up, my PC was on, and since the installation is really fuckin' old and faulty, it might have created a shortcircuit which eventually killed the PSU along with my room's light bulb, lol.
