Widescreen aspects for youtube have to be 16, possibility that when scaling down from 16:10 to 16 that you didn't stretch the video to match the aspects. Of course there is always one option, to put this

into the tags section of your video, it will stretch it for you.

The new youtube's a bitch, I'm not sure how to stretch a video with Sony Vegas but I do know how to cut it until it matches the aspects.

The closest 16 aspect to 1,920 x 960 would be 1,690 x 951.

(can probably find a tutorial or guide online to figure out how to stretch it properly, I'm no pro with vegas)

@Hitman, I made the text/background in photoshop, then put it into Vegas, and just messed around with some NewBlueFX effects.

@Mark, basically what Bluefox said. I just went to File > Properties then chose 1080p HD Widescreen 24p. Rendered it as .wmv.
