LVP:IV Introduction
LVP:IV is an open source gamemode for IV:Multiplayer

Why the name LVP:IV? LVP has its origin at San Andreas Multiplayer. One area of San Andres is called Las Venturas. Shame on you if you didn't know that! For nostalgic reasons we are keeping LVP in the name.

Google Code/Google Project Hosting
LVP:IV at Google Code.
We are using Google Code for our new open source GTA IV:Multiplayer gamemode. If you want to participate to LVP:IV, either by reporting bugs, filling in new feature requests or even submitting bugfixes, you need a (free) Google Account.

Report bugs or new feature requests
If you found a bug or though of a new feature, head over to our Google Code page and check the Issues.
Please search in All issues. It is possible that someone else wrote an issue with the same bug/feature request, or the issue is closed already.

If you can't find a similar issue, click New issue. Choose the correct template, fill in a small summary, and a correct description of the bug/feature request.
Additionally you can attach files, for example screenshots.

Submit bugfixes
Non-project members can not submit bugfixes to the SVN repository itself, but they can attach files (.diff or .patch) to Issues.
Just like reporting bugs or new feature requests, search all issues for a similar issue. If there is, you can reply there with the patch file attached. Open a new issue if there isn't any similar issue.

More information can be found at: WIKI: Patch files.

Get involved with the development
Everyone is free to develop for LVP:IV by submitting patches. If you want to become a LVP:IV developer you can request commit access. Before you get accepted you have to show some work first, which will be determined per person. Most likely open LVP:IV issues.

IRC
For communication we can be found at IRC:
<a href=irc://irc.gtanet.com/LVP.IV>irc.gtanet.com #LVP.IV</a>
.
If you want, you can use our Webchat to connect. After you are connected, just type: /join #LVP.IV

Server
Although LVP:IV is in very early development at this time, you can connect to it. In the current state you can't do much, neither do we guarantee that it even works.
