CoD4 error

hello i bought Cod4 today but i got an error when i start it, it says:

Vertex shader version is 0.0
Video card or driver doesn't accelerate transform and lighting.
Video card or driver doesn't support UBYTE4N vertex data.


Error during initialization:
Video card or driver doesn't support UBYTE4N vertex data.

Anyone knows what is the problem?

help me 2 when i launch it, it says :the procedure entry point _alt_set_speaker_configuration@16could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll

mss32.dll is probably corrupt.

Go to:

C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare

Back up your mss32.dll file, then try replacing it with this one:

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?mss32


I have no idea if that'll work, I'm just suggesting you try. Make sure you back up your original .dll file though, as I accept no responsibility for eh, your computer blowing up or such.
