Actually Frazer... you bought the game.. and you still have it installed.  So why not go over to www.gamecopyworld.com and get the FIXED.exe

When you buy a game in the real world, i.e not via Steam, you have your basic rights. You purchaced the game. You can install you game on any computer you want. There is no issue to use a cracked .exe for it.  Alot of people do it as it saves you from having to dig through all your discs, then inserting it everytime want to play.

You should also make a backup of all your game disks too
