[C] hideme and /fight
#1
Hey, I saw bubbles post, i agree with that about /hideme its impossible to know who to report if the person is twoshotting, or if they're a regular who decides to start cheating. Theres no way to know if they are cheating, and videos for proving people are shiplaming would be useless if the lamer is using /hideme. Using it to hide the map icon is a nice idea though.

The other thing is the gates in the fight club. They cause it to be really laggy, and i've also managed to interrupt a fight with nades. Taking off health and armour by nading the "roof" of the fight club. It's ok saying, players who nade or try and interrupt fights get jailed, kicked, or banned. It isn't going to be much use if there isnt admins online. It was a lot better how it used to be, only with the ability to move the camera, or select different camera positions.

A view from above, and one in each corner, or on each side, that would make it pretty cool. To use sprint and jump to go from camera to camera, or to use the buttons like on the skin selection.

That's what I said Matthias :'(

Solution without a camera
Set a checkpoint near the fight club, which changes the world for the player as well as removing their weapons,
while they'll get them back by simply stepping on the checkpoint again.
Will not need a timer for if they were fighting or not, if you set it on top of the fightclub, as it's easy to shoot them while they're trying to climb up.
Presuming the fights will be in another world.

Excuse me if I'm wrong with any facts, I haven't tested the new release.

Love the way my suggestion was deleted, even if it was (in my opinion) better than some of the crap posted here.  Well done.

You, as in the Devs can go fuck yourself and remove me from the Beta team if thats the attitude you're going to have.

Gone so far downhill recently that you now remove legit suggestions that are valid, nothing rude of offensive posted, just my opinion that would aid the server better than whats currently suggested.

Have no problem with you disagreeing with it and even ignoring it, but to delete it out right... fuck off and get stupid children to do your testing who will bow to your every whim, not wasting my time making suggestions and testing for the server again.

Goodbye.

Again, Fuck you.  And hail hitler. I gather thats what you want to hear? Sure seems it. (in a mangement of the server context, not racist)

In /world 0,  i.e the main map I like the cage as it highlights the fightclub... people (newbies) driving along see the custom map/cage and go..whats all this about and might check it out therefore introducing them to the fight system.  Also adds a little something to it being a no car zone for various bombing reasons. Visual effect...does alot :)

Yes, It may slow down peoples FPS when in a duel... so make fightclub duals in another world as they where before...

In short, I like the look of the cage in the mainworld, don't get rid of it :P

The cage is well made, good mapping, and it does look nice i agree. It just doesn't have a good effect on the fight club. It causes a lot of warp, and i could nade on top of it and damage the fighters.

It would be nice to keep it a no car zone though, to stop people car bombing it when theres a /fight going on.

The most simple solution i think is still the multi-camera angles. It wouldn't need any timer, because it would work on the keystate changing callback. It wouldn't interfere with the fights, and players spectating could see it all from different angles.

Edit:
I've also noticed with /fight watch it's possible to abuse it as in, a free teleport back to the fight club area (provided there is a /fight happening). Which also happens to be close to a popular dm spot.
