Based on the fact the gamemode hadn't been restarted in over 6 weeks when this issue was present, I'm going to blame it on a buffer overflow issue with a timestamp function that the handler uses. Unfortunately since this is a problem with SA-MP, we can't fix it. As you may have noticed, during the period the bug was present, Lyse wouldn't start and would show a message that it was already in progress.
Lyse has been running on the gamemode for over 6 months with minimal changes to the signup functions and this problem has not occurred before. Since the recent GMX it appears to be working fine.
