[S]new forum rule

In response to Bluefawk's [C] post, I'd like to suggest we add a new rule to the forum about quoting/emoticons.

Basically to stop people raising their post count by just quoting someone else who made a valid point, and either posting a emoticon, or leaving it blank with just the quote in their post. I've noticed this alot, with people like LiteZ, JoZe, Shoru (when he first started out).

Also maybe tighter rules on flaming? Alot of valid topics get ripped to shreds by two people battling it out.

Maybe create a minimum character limit on posts, and also tighter enforcement on rules about flaming/spam.

Just a thought.

That basically falls under spamming, as that's what it is. Added it with the spamrule.

I warned them both of the thread derailing.

A minimum of characters wouldn't work as most of the spam caused by the emoticons/quoting would still go through. Because they would a) quote a post, or b) add even more emoticons.

Good to hear that Richard. And yes I just realized that about the minimum post idea.
