Topics that are past one month old should have an auto lock to avoid bumping? I'm not sure if its possible with these forum scripts it was just an idea that came to me.

But sometimes there's a good reason to bump an old topic!

There's not too many bumping and when someone does it they get jumped on by the rest before its deleted + locked.
And as tomozj said, sometimes it's alright to bump.
