Hard to name strictly the best, but probably one of those:

In Bruges. (This one is a main candidate I guess).
Mulholland Drive.
Requiem for a Dream.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Transsiberian.

A honorable mention to:

Vanilla Sky
Moon
Usual Suspects

There are just way too many tbh.

I like the mindfucks you mention there Mulholland Drive is the biggest of them starting with the clue's from the very first seconds. Bloody annoying and brilliant film. :D

Yeh, I really liked the visual side of it, not really a sci-fi fan, but that one is a must see.

Gladly.
Please note that you said "good" films, not "great" or whatever:

Can't comment on a couple I haven't seen, ie Fear & Loathing.

Fear & Loathing is brilliant a drugtrip without having to take drugs. I've not seen it with drugs so i cant judge if its even better that way.  :P

Favourite movie would have to be...Tremors 2. Love all four of the Tremors series but Aftershock is definately the best of the lot.

But other favourite movies would include:

51st State
Big Trouble In Little China
American History X
Godfather 1 & 2 (3 was kinda shit)
Scarface (Al Pacino's version, not so much the original)
Goodfellas
Green Street 1 & 2

Oh and "SouthPark: Bigger, Longer, Uncut" has to be amongst my favourite of favourites. I mean that's like, the only film to come out of a series, be a musical and actually be any good.
