okay so i installed some mods to check em out and didnt back the files up and now when i re-install GTA:SA they dont go away, i also downloaded a gta3.img file and tryed replacing that with the one in my GTA:SA and they were still there. can someone please help me?! i hate these mods nowww

You should check Holden's reply on fps, that will remove your mods ;)

How can you still have the mods after re-install, its impossible. Uninstall GTA SA again and make sure to delete everything related to it, that should do it. And if not then format lol

umh,ye i guess u didnt reinstall it fully all this would b fixed if you had a back up :X :X

I thought the same.. I wanted to remove that snowmod which also requires a fresh install. Worked just fine.

I've had this before, you need to delete your Rockstar Games folder after you uninstall the game, then rename the install forder for example when installing San Andreas it asks you where you want the directory to be, click on Browse and name it like GTA:SA then install and all should be fine.
