Ok good point Mike, I'm pro homosexuality/gay rights and all that, but I think the whole homosexuality topic has reached its end in this thread (on top of being offtopic) so lets leave it at that.
Munch:
Precisely, if the kids train with small weights like bags of sugar at a really young age and don't do any high intensity weightlifting (the kid in the video wasn't lifting a dangerous amount of weight) then he'll grow up fine.

Agreed. I'll just leave Strika to himself, and hope he doesn't end up getting shot or thrown in prison one day for his actions. That would be terrible.

Yeah I don't think that'll happen in his country, but unfortunately often (nature vs nurture) its someone's parents/friends/media's influence (or lackthereof) that can have a seemingly innocent baby develop into a 16 y/o hate monger.

And at the age of 6, you don't think you don't want to be all buffed up? Okay maybe not 6 but that's what encouragement is there for. At 6 that's the age when people want to become popstars or be like their favourite sport athlete or something but why do we at that age even want that? Because we're introduced to it and see it as a nice life and then you like it and want the life they have.
Probably same for this kid. Maybe he watched wrestling or his father introduced him to wrestling and thought that this kid's place was amongst the world's strongest and brought him up this way.
Unless real harm was done or he was overworked or the kid worked out against his will, there isn't a real problem. He was probably started on something small like lifting bags of sugar or something like that.
Damn, I'm going to work out alot more if you get buffed up by lifting sugar bags.
Anyways, my cousin is 8 years old, soon 9, and he doesn't give a living fuck about lifting weights, or playing football(Soccer), though one of his main idols is football players, and buffed up action men. It would just be overrated to say that such young kids would go do something so extreme at that age, just because their source of motivation is some wrestler, etc.
Yes, introducing young people to stuff, surely affects them, but I doubt in such matters that they would go lift weights for 3 hours, every day, for the next 2 years.

I didn't say they actually go on to doing what their heroes do, but they're inspired by them and want to be like them, but only the really determined youngsters actually grow up and fulfill that dream.
And I said age 6 not age 8-9.

Are you age 6? No.
You're saying that it's unhealthy for the child at that age to be that buffed up suggesting that as soon as he could walk he got like 10 kilo weights thrown at him, but really he started out small.
You always start out small in anything in life, this lifestyle is no different. At a young age if your place in life is amongst the strongest in the world, then it's best to start off on something small, the bags of sugar are an example.

"[He] says his stardom has not gone to his head and he still enjoys normal kids stuff like painting, watching cartoons and playing in the park when he is not weightlifting."
Although the line about him starting lifting weights from the age of two is a little disturbing, he seems fine with what's going on and as long as he's apart of other activities and evidently enjoys it all, I see no problem with what he's doing.

Strika is right in some way but so is mike.
Everyone has rights etc and shouldn't be discriminated by their race, orientation or whatever...but if you're going to say homosexuality is normal then i gotta say that's wrong.
Some people say that it's a disorder, because at birth those who are homosexual are born with more female hormones then those who are straight. So i'd say it's a disorder (don't take this in the wrong way), your born with an abnormal level of female hormones...abnormal.
