How about some driving/walking NPC .. maybe even some that shoot back ^^

NPC's are recordings, nothing more. They can't really interact with you, so having a shootout probably isn't going to happen.

Sorry to disappoint you, but NPCs kinda fail.

I don't see why not? I've scripted a shooting and walking NPC which doesn't use any paths. It's AI isn't the most advanced but it does work.

We would like to add lots more NPCs, like buses, more trains and planes, NPCs at the bar and the GTA Merchant, however NPCs use a lot of CPU.
