Agree.

By the way, all he does is using the same sequencers and some drumcomps every time, there's to my humble opinion no artist in Tiësto, he's just a moneymaker.  :X

Well he's certainly better in recording music then I am :P
But I agree that only people who make music with real instruments can be called artists

I disagree. Making music with software can be as hard as with instruments.

You cant say that unless you try making it yourself, im sure its not an easy job coming up with things. Ofcourse its your opinion.

personally i think theres an art to making music on a computer. You have to find every tune perfectly, fit it together so it sounds right, and of course you have to be computer friendly. I myself only like my computer for games and friends, where as he uses it for his work, and what he loves. Music.

I'd personally love to learn how to produce a fine piece of music, or at least learn how to mix. Fact, I'd really like to try it.

Hmmm i do agree in some extent, sure you can make it as hard as you want it to be. Some use it to make a broad variety of sounds, others make a uni-sausage sound. Besides that, i can make it myself, in fact you can make it yourself if you want. You can even make adagio for strings on the shittiest music program there is Fruity Loops (i dont use it :+ ). Look.

Adagio for Strings - Tiesto (Fruity Loops 7) - Juaco

No its not me. Doesnt sound exactly like it, but thats just because this guy no external synths via midi, i guess some rack synths and drum computers would fix that perfectly.

Now i found the original track, classical piece of music. But if you have the score of the track its easy to get them in midi. And i guess the midi tracks are out there on some website too. Piece of cake.

Samuel Barber - Adagio for Strings

Sry to be such a bitch about this :P...but yes it can be hard making music on computer, but its never as hard as really picking up your guitar, learning piano and actually play and create something with a group. It takes more craftmanship to do that than buying a computer and some synths. Does it need to be hard to make good music? Guess not, but lets not give them credit for craftmanship they don't deserve. Guess this shows some analogy with LVP: "its all about the skills" buddies ;).

ya your right in that, but some people just don't have the born talents to do it. Some people just make that music flow with their guitar where as others have skills with a computer. Not everyone will be able to learn ot use a computer as good as others.

I know what you mean, but let me say this that people that appreciates tiesto's music is the people that like the genre, and that genre is made by computers, its electronic music :P Not all of them is made with computers, old ones arent. Im trying to say that people that think Tiesto has talent and makes good music is that people are into that genre :) People have different tastes, but they also like different genres. I hope you understand what I mean  :P
